Day 1
2 Blueberry, 2 Chocolate, 2 Bananas
I can already tell you that I actually like the Banana. It is not quite as good as my wife’s Banana bread but reminds me of it, so it’s a start. The texture is like a bread or cake brownie. Not too bad. I had 2 this morning. I was pretty hungry. But... not hungry now.
6am: I had 2, 1 Banana and 1 Blueberry
8:30am: Started to get hungry so after looking over the time throughout the day decide that I could either have 1 every 2 hours or 2 for lunch and 2 snacks. I guess I will see how I feel. Not a big fan of the chocolate. It may take some time. I have also been taking 1 bite at a time, savoring it and waiting until my teeth are clean before taking another bite. Also I looked at the bottle of 5 hour energy and it is only 4 calories, no sugar and I didn’t see any carbohydrates which is the main things every diet hates.
So some beverage ideas:
Water is obviously going to have to be number 1. Diet soda is ok, but we all know that the carbonation is not good for us. Crystal light, 5 hour energy are some other good choices. It is probably best to stick with just water, though, if you can.
10:45am: Starting to feel the burn again. I am drinking water to try and make it to 11am before having anything. I have 3 cookies left and am going to have one at 11am, 1pm, and then 3pm. That should hold me until dinner tonight.
Well it is 11:40 now and I got busy at work, my banana cookie lasted 40 minutes! I took one bite and the hunger went away enough for me to focus on something else.
1:05: I wasn’t very hungry I guess it is because it took so long to finish the last cookie. I think I will have chocolate.
3:45: Not even hungry. I am very optimistic. Maybe there is something to this diet. Day 1 went very fast. I admit though… I am looking forward to eating some normal food. Hopefully my wife ate the rest of the pizza so I don’t have to think about it. Lol.
Oatmeal is all that is left. I will eat it at 4pm to make sure I have enough time to get home and eat dinner without dying of starvation.
Dinner about 5:30pm
